Debby Yeager - Bio
An accomplished singer-songwriter and instructor, Debby Yeager began her career in 1976 on the nightclub circuit, and toured Japan as a
Rhythm & Blues singer in 1981 and 1982.
Native to Southern California (and the offspring of the Venice 50's beat-generation) Miss Yeager has studied under the vocal instruction of
Florence Riggs for over a decade. Yeager has since studied alongside Grammy Award-Winning composer/vocal director Alan Copeland, performed
and recorded with Bulgarian pianist Milcho Leviev and the legendary Blue Note recording artist Bob Dorough, who makes a special guest
appearance on two tunes from Yeager's self-produced debut recording "Mood Swing".
A natural ability to become intimate with her audience, in large or small venues, is one of her many attributes. Known for spontaneous
and unpretentious surprise, Miss Yeager displays a deep intuitive understanding for the meaning of improvisation.
